1956 USVBA National Championships
Outrigger Canoe Club members joined with members of the Central YMCA to compete in the USVBA National Championships in Seattle, WA in 1956. It was the first time a Hawaii team had entered. 1960 Outrigger Canoe Club Volleyball Team
The 1960 OCC Volleyball team heads off to the USVBA Championships in Dallas, TX. The team finished seventh in the open division. Team members were Mark Auerbach, William Baird, Peter Balding, William Cross, Bobby Daniels, Tom Haine, William Heilbron, A. Lange, Ron Sorrell, Peter Velasco and Pat Wyman. This was the first time that Outrigger sent a team to the nationals.
