Every year the Outrigger sponsors a Marathon aid station on Kahala Avenue. Prepping materials for the aid station before the race are Kawika Grant, Buck Schmuck, Aid Station Chair Cline Mann, Tay Perry, Richard Ferguson.

Outrigger Canoe Club hosted an Aid Station on Kahala Avenue for the Honolulu Marathon every year. More than 100 members gathered at 4 a.m. to set up the station and provide water, coke, sponges and encouragement to runners. Runners came through the station twice, on their way out and on the return.
