The Bourbon League was made up of a group of Pan Am pilots who stopped over in Hawaii on a layover before heading east on their round-the-world route. They stayed at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel and made the Outrigger Canoe Club their home away from home. They provided the Club many necessities during World War II including bourbon and volleyballs. They meet every two years at the OCC to remininsce.
