1988 Na Wahine O Ke Kai
Greg Barton and Traci Phillips stopped in Honolulu for the Na Wahine race on their way home from the Olympic Games in Seoul. Greg won two Olympic kayaking gold medals and Tracy placed sixth. Tracy went on to the Women's Sports Foundation banquet in New York to be honored as the Speed and Power Athlete of 1988. After that they headed to Washington, D. C. with the rest of the Olympic team to meet the president.
