1990 Josephine Hopkins Garner
Josephine Hopkins Garner was a pioneer in competitive women's sports. She won the Frank Clark Cup for best woman surfer at the OCC in 1917 and was a champion swimmer for the Club. She was elected to Life Membership in the Outrigger in 1984.

1990 Welcome Home Party
Gerry DeBenedetti threw a welcome home party for her son Grant Senner who had been sailing in the Caribbean. He celebrated his 19th birthday and received a Good Guy Award from Mayor Frank Fasi for saving the life of a fellow crew member when the yacht he was sailing to California keeled over and sank last summer.
