1992 Cline Mann Speaks at Stew & Rice 2-10-1992

More than 200 people crowded the Dining Room to hear Cline Mann's lecture "The Ahupua'a of Waikiki" where he exlained the chiefly division of lands awarded to individuals and those falling under the personal estates of King Lunalilo, Queen Emma and Pricess Bernice Pauahi Bishop.

1992 Olympians Honored by McDonalds 6-1992

Honored recently for their past Olympic titles were Peter George, Bill Woolsey, Allen Stack, Aileen Riggin Soule, Ken Walsh, Keala O'Sullivan Watson and Tommy Kono. They were featured in a half-hour television special on Channel 2 immediately preceding the Olympic open ceremonies.

1992 Adventurer's Club Lecture

Frank Damon and son Tommy Damon attended Tim Guard's Adventurer's Club lecture on South America. Tim climbed Mount Aconcagua, the highest mountain in the western hemisphere.

1992 New Honorary Member Henrietta Smith Mann

Mrs. Henrietta Smith Mann was given an Honorary Membership in the Club based on the many years of dedication to the Club by Mrs. Mann and her family. Her husband Jimmy was a long time member of the Club, serving three detached terms on the Board of Directors. Her son, Cline Mann, is a past president.

Outrigger's new Beach Stairs leading from the public beach to the Club beach were completed in October 1992.

1992 International Buffet

Enjoying the International Buffet at the Club were Terry, Brian, Mike and Bill Wells. The boys were home from college. Brian from UCLA and Mike from University of Colorado.

1992 RAAM Bike Race

Jim Kennedy was one of a group of four who finished first in the 40-man team competition of the Race Across America 2,909 mile bicycle race from Irvine, California to Savannah Georgia. They set a record of 6 days and 37 minutes.
