The Kaluaokau fiberglass canoe sits on its namesake beach at Waikiki. Its name means "Sleepy Hollow". Kaluaokau was the name of the land upon which the first Ourigger Canoe Club was situated, the Waikiki home of King Lunalilo, later willed to Queen Emma, from whose estate the Club leased the property until 1964.
