Hundreds of Outrigger Canoe Club participated in the Centennial Club Day which began at dawn with athletic contests and lasted well into the event with dancing.

2008 Club Day Biathlon (Run/Swim)
Participants in the Dash and Splash Biathlon were Anthony Hunt, Diane Stowell, Susie Neufeldt, Malia Boyd, Anne Perry, Kari Vasey and John Wacker. The run was around Kapiolani Park, followed by a swim from San Souci Beach out the Kapua Channel and back to the Club. Neufeldt won in 37:55, followed by Malia Boyd in 38:51.
