2009 New Life Member Barbara Del Piano 2-23-2009
Barbara Del Piano, a 48-year member of the Outrigger Canoe Club was elected to Life Membership at the Club's Annual Meeting. Barbara was the author of the Club's Centennial history book, wrote more than 50 historical articles for the Outrigger magazine, chaired both the Public Relations and Historical Committees, and been party captain for the Oldtimers' Get Together. Last year, she created the dioramas of the 1908, 1916 and 1941 Outrigger Clubhouses. Pictured on the right is her husband Tony Del Piano.
