The membership of the Outrigger Canoe Club voted Paul Dolan to Life Membership at the Club's Annual Meeting on February 22 for his outstanding contributions to the Club over the past 65 years.

Paul Dolan joined the Outrigger Canoe Club in 1945, started paddling in the 11 & under crew and paddled Molokai several times before heading to college and service in the Korean War as a member of the U.S. Navy.

In the early 1980s Paul became interested in computers and joined the Outrigger Canoe Club's Historical Committee where he created and maintained 28 data bases covering a vast range of subjects, conducted oral histories, and kept track of the Club's trophies.
