2011 Hana Relays
Glenn and Anne Perry, Matthew Seymour, Makena Dixon, Brooke Perry and Kamuela (friend) entered the Hana Relays as Team Fun, placing seventh in the Mixed Division and 30th overall.
2011 Diva Wahine Half Marathon and Girls 5K 4-17-2011
The Meijide-Gentry-Balding famlies decided to participate in their first sporting event as a family. Front: Tasia, Nautica and Sirena. Back: Candes, Nora and Corin. Nora took third and Corin first in their age groups in the 5K, and Candes finished first in her age group and fourth overall in the half-marathon. The 5K was open to men, women and children of all ages. Even Sirena was able to run/ride in her stroller in the Girls 5K with Kaimana, Nautica and Tasia finishing together as a team.
2011 Outrigger Run/Hike Adventure 7-17-2011
The OCC Running Committee launched its first Run/Hike Adventure July 17 from the Makiki Pumping Station. Winding through Kanealole, Makiki Valley and Maunalaha trails, participants finished the hike with a tasty BBQ feast.
