2015 Paddlers' Party
Outrigger's Boys 14 crew was awarded the Waikiki Cup, a perpetual trophy for the Junior crew that makes the biggest contribution to paddling during the season. Accepting the award are Reuben Lee, Ryan Martinez, Mike Nakaoka, Carson Miyachi, Scott Nakaoka and Eric Buckland. The boys were honored for their accomplishments in and out of the canoe. They medaled in the majority of their races and were the only crew that helped with the rigging of the canoes prior to the start of each race.

Sophia Krivatsy was named Bob Fischer Junior Girl Paddler of the Year. "Sophia always brings a smile and positive attitude to practice," says Head Youth Coach Mark Sandvold. "This year she was the catalyst in holding her crew together and was the reason they made States and earned valuable points for the Club each week."

Ryan Martinez was named Bob Fischer Junior Boy Paddler of the Year. Coach Leighton Miyachi said Ryan was considered the Junior Program utility paddler as he paddled in almost every age division to help fill in when a crew was short paddlers. "His willingness to help whenever he could and his great attitude went a long way toward making our Junior program successful."
