2015 Scratchfest Paddleboad Relay Race
Scratchfest teams lined up with their paddleboards before the start of the relay. Twenty-six teams competed in the race which features a paddle out the Kapua Channel to a buoy and return. Each member of the team does the course twice. Surf was 3-4 foot at Old Man Bowls.

Competitors in the Junior Grom Division were: Aukina Hunt, Jack Lyons, Kailoa Akaka, Kupono Akaka, Ford Lyons, Mahina Akaka, Nanea Philpotts and Teja Laird. Mahina and Aukina finished first, Teja and Nanea were second, Kailoa and Ford were third, and Jack and Kupono were fourth.

Paddlers raced out the Kapua Channel to a buoy one-half mile off shore and then back to the beach to tag their partners. Each member did two laps.
